Fishtec - Warranty Claims Procedure

If you suspect you have a faulty product supplied by us please contact us in the first instance by phone, email or post. Some problems may be resolved or avoided by an explanation or advice from one of our knowledgeable staff.

If you need to return the goods to us, please do so by sending the goods back to us by a secure delivery method. We recommend you use Royal Mail recorded or special delivery or a courier and that all returns are suitably packaged as we cannot be held responsible for damaged or non-arrival of goods.

Please enclose a completed returns form if available or a covering letter including your name, address, nature of the fault and the action you wish us to take. Where possible please include a copy of the original receipt or invoice. This will allow us to gain all the relevant information on which to process the return as quickly as possible.

On receipt of the goods we will inspect the products. In some instances we reserve the right to return the item to the manufacturer for further inspection or testing. If the problem is covered by the warranty we will arrange a suitable replacement, alternative or refund.

Please ensure that any warranty returns are clean and dry. All products that are wet and/or dirty will be returned at your expense.

We must be informed of any omissions or damaged deliveries with 48 hours of receipt.

In some instances, warranty claims will be handled directly by the manufacturer. This will normally be stated on a warranty card or the invoice/receipt supplied with the product.

Most products are supplied with a manufacturers 12 month warranty against defects in workmanship or materials (unless otherwise stated). This warranty applies only to the original purchaser. Wear and tear, accidental or intentional damage or inappropriate use are not covered by any warranty (unless “unconditional”). Your statutory rights are not affected.

Overseas Warranty - We will endeavour to honour warranties for overseas customers. However, we will not be liable for extra shipping costs incurred for warranty claims outside the UK.

Please note, if you have a warranty issue with a TFG product that was not bought directly from us, you will need to return it to the TFG dealer that the purchase was made under. They will contact us and deal with any problem as soon as possible.

Enigma EMG rods come with a 10 year unconditional warranty. There is no charge for this service. The entire rod needs to be returned to Airflo (address above) to ensure the replacement section(s) are fitted correctly. Lifetime warranty - £25 for new section. Please return broken section to Airflo at the address above along with your name, address, length and line rating of the rod.


GREYS

Greys provide on all their rods an unconditional warranty good for the lifetime of the original owner. This is given in addition to your statutory rights, and covers fault or damage from any cause. As from January 1st 2008 Hardy and Greys will be introducing a new policy for rod warranties - Worldwide Extended Warranty. GUIDELINE

When you buy a Guideline rod, you are covered by their special GL warranty. If you are unlucky and the accident happens we will do our best to help you out as quickly as possible. Send or bring the broken piece of your rod together with a copy of your receipt to your dealer. If he has your rod-model in stock, you will get a new piece at once. If not, we will make sure it is delivered to the shop within a week.

Reaction Rod - You pay £59 (€69)* for a single-handed rod. For a double-handed rod, you pay £69 (€79)*.

LeCie/Fario/Lpxe rods - You pay £39 (€49)* for a single-handed rod. For a double-handed rod, you pay £49 (€59)*.

Act4/Exp3/Kispiox rods - You pay £29 (€39)* for a single-handed rod. For a double-handed rod, you pay £39 (€49)*.

All claims and support issues shuold go through your dealer. In some cases this might not be possible due to your locatation or other logistical matters.

Hardy offer an award-winning refurbishment service for tackle. For rods they can strip down to the blank; check and adjust joints; clean, fill and sand cork handles (or replace them); polish handle fittings; re-tie and re-varnish (with new rings if required).

LOOMIS

Loomis rods are covered by a free 2 year manufacturers guarantee against any defects for workmanship or materials from the date of purchase. This warranty is limited to repair or replacement and does not cover consequential or incidental damage or loss.

In addition you will have the right to acquire at any time replacements for any part or section of a G. Loomis rod which falls outside the scope of the warranty but relates to normal wear and tear damage at a price equivalent to 15% of cost of official recommended retail price per section.

LOOP COLOUR SERIES

You will need to contact Loop on 0046854410176 or visit Looptackle. You need to return 3 inches of the ferrule from the broken section and 2 inches either side of the break - Charge will be €55.

VISION RODS

Vision warrant that in the case of breakage for whatever reason, your Vision rod will be repaired or replaced with the nearest current model, during te first five years after purchase, applicable only to the original purchaser.

There is a nominal charge of £15.00 €25.00 on Attack and 3Zone and £30.00 €45.00 on GTfour and all Salmon rods to cover handling and carriage.
