Akios 656CS. This is the base model of the '6' series but even so it still has an impressive specification. It has a levelwind and centrifugal brakes which makes it a good choice for light line boat fishing and bass/estuary shore work. Other features include:

Akios 656CSM The CSM is the next model up from the base CS and adds magnetic braking to the spec sheet. If you plan on using the reel for lots of casting under different conditions then the M version is a worthwhile move upwards. The Akios magnets offer great control and can be adjusted from full on control to loony 'on the edge' distance hunting!

Akios 656CTM The CTM is the distance model in the range and dispenses with the levelwind in favour of an open 'CT' cage making it the model for the keen beach angler. You have a combination of centrifugal and magnetic braking which allow you to wring maximum safe casting performance from the CTM no mater what the conditions are.

Akios 757CS The bigger '7' series offer an increase in guts and torque and make these models well suited to heavy beach, rock and uptide fishing. They share most of the features of the '6' series but the retrieve is dropped to 4.3:1 to increase torque and the drag is a whopping 20lb+ to deal with big fish and strong lines. The 7 also has a duel anti reverse system for extra security when battling a lunker. Weight is 19oz and capacity 320yds of 20lb This 757CS version has centrifugal brakes and a levelwind.

Akios 757CT The CT is a centrifugal braked non levelwind version of the 757CT

Akios 757CTM The CTM adds magnetic braking for improved casting control. This is great for dealing with big baits for targetting shore conger and tope.
