Ed and Jane Brown started work on the fishery in 1992. A lot of the visitors to Furnace Mill Fishery cannot believe that it has not been around a lot longer than that. Ed spends many hours maintaining the facilities for the anglers but also the local wildlife.

The fishery is located in the quite outstanding countryside of the Wyre Forest. The site consists of four pools for the use of both match and pleasure anglers alike. Most of the pegs are accessible to disabled anglers and Ed is usually around to help those who might need assistance.
